Experience
I earned my master's degree in Information and Communication at the University of Sorbonne, Paris. I earned a second master's degree in French Literature from the University of Cincinnati. Most recently, I spent a year back in Paris as a French teacher at a vocational school. As a French native, I deeply enjoy teaching students about French culture and its differences from American culture. I also love to teach French, and have been working as a French professor since coming to the United States. I am comfortable working with students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced-level students, and am also able to assist students with the curriculum specific to AP French courses. As a tutor, I am a strong proponent of the conversational and communicative methods; however, I think it's important to tailor one's tutoring style to the student's needs. No matter which methods I use while teaching, I truly enjoy helping my students improve their fluency in and mastery of the French language. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy exploring the city, attending music and art events, and cooking.
